migrating your e-mails from kmail1 to kmail2 can be a mess. i mean like really ugly. i spent a whole day trying, repeated the migration three times (taking into account different approaches discussed in forums and mailing lists), only to realize that kmail's migration tool was a complete waste of my time. i always ended up with hundreds of annoying popup notifications, saying that something couldn't be read from some(TM) folder, or that some request came back empty. the only thing missing from these completely useless "guess what, there's something wrong, but i won't enlighten you with helpful details" messages was the tip to contact your system administrator.
